During the Roald Dahl workshop presented by three teachers from Hatch End High School on Tuesday 27th February the children in Year 4 were asked to come up with 5 ‘Gobblefunk’ words in the style of Roald Dahl. For example, Hopscotchy which means cheerful! The BFG says that a few gulps of frobscottle (a fizzy drink) always makes him feel hopscotchy.

After creating the 5 words the children then they were challenged to use their words to write a story about the above picture of a car crashing into a tree.
