At Weald Rise we want children to experience and learn skills in computational technology that will equip them for a future yet to be typed.
The computing curriculum is made up of the following areas:
Skills are taught progressively. We have introduced the use of knowledge organisers to support staff, pupils and parents by identifying the key information and vocabulary we want children to learn.
Help us help your child at home: use the information in these knowledge organisers to start discussions off about all the rich, varied vocabulary in their units of studies.
Use them as a springboard to go deeper into subjects and encourage your child to do lots of wonderful research into these exciting topics.
